ICC world cup cricket 2011 schedule to be announced

World cup committee will announce the ICC world cup cricket 2011 schedule on November 9 in Mumbai.

A Total of 49 matches to be played across India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in this grand cricket event with India hosting 29 matches.
Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai will host the final and Mohali and Colombo to host the semi finals one each.

ICC world cup cricket 2011 groups:
Group A: Australia, Pakistan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Canada, Kenya
Group B: India, South Africa, England, West Indies, Bangladesh, Ireland, Netherlands.

Mumbai to host 2011 World Cup final

The Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai has been announced as the venue for the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup final; while Mohali in Punjab is going to host one of the semifinals

2011 World Cup Cricket grouping announced

The Groups:

Group A:

Sri Lanka (co-hosts),
Zimbabwe,

Kenya

Group B:

India (co-hosts),
South Africa,

West Indies,
Bangladesh,
Ireland
The Netherlands

India will be hosting 29 of those matches with Sri Lanka holding 12 and remaining eight going to Bangladesh, which will host two of the four quarterfinals. India and Lanka will hold other two last-eight clashes besides a semifinal each. The final will be held at the renovated Wankhede Stadium.
